Located at the beginning of the Kleinwalsertal, Austria's third largest tourist destination, at an altitude of 1,089 m, Riezlern is also its largest village. It is home to the magnificent neo-Romanesque Church of the Sacrifice, which was destroyed in 560 A.D. It has been rebuilt and a section dating back to 1460 can still be seen today, reminiscent of the original construction. Riezlern has Austria's smallest casino, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the Kanzelwandbahn cable car, which allows you to hike on beautiful trails once you reach the summit (2,056 m). In winter, Riezlern is a famous ski resort.
