Isn't it the goal of any trip to the Cape to finally see this mythical rocky point? As you head towards the Cape of Good Hope, notice the different shades of blue of the two oceans, the Atlantic on the right and the False Bay on the left. You will pass the Visitor's Centre where detailed maps with the times of the five possible walks are sold. The 33 km tour of the reserve can be done in two days, overnight stay, about 150 R all included. You then turn right to reach the cape along the coast. The purity of the air immediately makes you gain ten years of life! At Cape Point, the view is much more spectacular. You climb to 40 in a funicular to reach the weather station, or you go there on foot in half an hour.A small path leads down to the old lighthouse. A one-hour walk leads to the beach. Swimming is very dangerous. In the reserve. Two places are recommended for swimming and picnics: Buffelsbaai and Bordjiesdrif. At sunset, take the Olifantsbosbaai road to the west. From here, take the beautiful coastal path through the fynbos, where you'll come across the reserve's ostriches and antelopes. At low tide, see the remains of the Nolloth, a ship that ran aground in 1965.
