This nature reserve is the ideal place to come and observe colonies of birds and marine mammals such as penguins, cormorants, elephant seals, killer whales and dolphins. There are no less than 16 species of mammals and 37 species of birds. The reserve is the largest breeding site for maned sea lions on the Atlantic coast of South America. Since the creation of the park, the population has more than doubled with nearly 15,500 individuals counted! Visits take place between November and March and are limited to small groups of tourists of maximum 10 people accompanied by a certified guide
