This little-visited church is remarkably well carved and features a richly decorated interior of brightly colored frescoes.

Located around 15 km south of Abouna Yemata, this little-visited church is nevertheless one of the most remarkably carved and decorated in Gueralta. The climb up to the church is a little acrobatic, however. Its domed façade, carved into a rocky spur, features two doors and four windows. The interior is richly decorated with brightly colored frescoes. The dome is decorated with twelve figures (apostles?) carrying tiaras and censers.
