Soldeu is located 3 km from El Tarter. Both villages have developed thanks to the nearby Grandvalira ski area. They are connected by ski lifts, taking the tourist to more than 2,000 m of altitude in a few minutes. It is a vast and sunny ski area where a ski and snowboard school, an information point, restaurants and other services for skiers are concentrated. In Soldeu there is a magnificent wellness center, the Sport Wellness Mountain Spa. The proximity of Grandvalira and the hotel facilities are the main assets of Soldeu, a village that does not offer any real heritage interest.
