If you opt for dinner, the menu will be even more refined, to be enjoyed in front of the setting sun, washed down with one of the many wines on the menu.

Situated in a beautiful location below Tarrafal beach, this is a restaurant like we like them, close to the sea with iodized compositions on the plate. Fish, shrimp and catch of the day, not to mention traditional dishes such as couscous, are all on the menu. The service is efficient and the atmosphere relaxed. All that's left to do is ask for the bill, which you won't have to fall over yourself to pay, before going for a digestive walk on the warm sand.

Without a doubt one of the most fashionable restaurants in Tarrafal, Maracujá, with its fruity connotations, honors local cuisine with a touch of French inspiration. This is not surprising since the friendly owner lived in Marseille for several years. Octopus, tuna and fish of the day can be found on a sober menu, but it is aimed at all palates. In the evening, several cocktails are suggested including the succulent Brazilian caipirinha , with passion fruit of course. Live music on Saturday night for a lively atmosphere, just the way we like it.

An address that defies competition. A very friendly atmosphere, an original garden, where you can combine tires, shells… There are huge fish dishes for 4 €. Braised chicken is also to fall on the ground. Zezinho, the manager, is a hilarious and colourful character. A former fisherman, he will explain to you (in French please) what he puts on the plate. 

Perched atop the eponymous guesthouse, this restaurant offers magnificent sea views, especially as the sun sets. The large terrace is perfect for two, groups or families, with cocktails and generous dishes. Fish lovers will love the tuna steak on hot stone, one of the highlights of the menu. On the panoramic terrace overlooking the waves, you can taste the chef's refined preparations: how about a Portuguese-style bacalhau, grilled octopus with mango or a good feijoada de mariscos before going for a walk? And if you feel like taking a nap, the cocooning hanging armchairs invite you to do so.

Not forgetting, of course, what's on the plates. These include grilled octopus cooked to perfection, fish fillets with colorful vegetables, the famous Cape Verdean fried moreia , poached pears or flans dripping with caramel for dessert - in short, "dilizia di casa" (the delights of the house)... quite a program!
