In Elima on the lagoon, the remains of Arthur Verdier's magnificent residence, perched on the heights and drowned in an ocean of lush greenery, watch over the waters crisscrossed by the colorful boats of fishermen. If you can still visit the remains of its original expansion point, the White House, it is however quite far from Assinie and is therefore not part of the tourist circuits offered by hotels. Of course, it is easier to reach it via Adiaké, but from the tip of Mafia, you can also go there with a private individual who knows the lagoon well (minimum 30,000 FCFA per excursion)
