Situated practically at the foot of the Corton mountain, in front of which lie the famous vineyards that give birth to the only red Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune: Corton, and the only white Grand Cru: Corton-Charlemagne, the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny is one of the most picturesque in the region, along with that of nearby Aloxe-Corton. The village was called Serrigny until 1988. It is home to a 17th century castle, with a moat, standing bridge, monumental gates and majestic park. Not to be missed: fortified farms from the 14th and 15th centuries, a 17th-century mill, as well as a 12th-century church with a remarkable porch
