Trearddur Bay is one of Anglesey's most popular destinations. The beautiful beach of Rhoscolyn is another not-to-be-missed destination, where surfing and canoeing are particularly popular. Then on to St Gwenfaen's Well. A little to the west of Rhoscolyn, there's a medieval well here, dedicated to St Gwenfaen, reputed to have healing powers! If you continue along the cliffs towards Trearddur Bay, you'll notice a stone engraved on the ground "Tyger Sep 17th 1819". It is in honor of a dog who saved a crew from shipwreck. After dragging the sailor and captain to the beach, the dog fell over dead from exhaustion..
