THE FISH MARKET

On the Corniche, this small daily and ephemeral fish market takes place at nightfall, from 6 pm. The fishermen gather on the port to offer their catch of the day. Fish of all sizes are lying in open coolers or on plastic tarpaulins, lit by lamps placed on the ground. The fishermen proudly display their large catches, fish sometimes half their size! The yellow lights of the harbor are reflected in the water and contrast with the blue suits of the fishermen.
