KATARA MASJID AND GOLD MASJID

Designed by the Turkish architect Zainab Fadil Oglu, renowned in the construction of mosques, this temple is a showcase of Islam, built in the cultural village of Kartara. The mosque is magnificent: the decoration is inspired by the Dolma Palace in Istanbul; sumptuous with its facade of blue mosaics. One can also admire, in the heart of the Katara Village, the surprising minaret of the Gold Masjid (the golden mosque), covered with small golden mosaic tiles sparkling under the sun.
