At the mouth of the Prosser River, you'll find the seaside town of Orford. The river flows into the ocean, creating a magnificent inlet known as Prosser Bay, and beyond Prosser Bay you'll find Mercury Passage and nearby Maria Island (25-minute ferry ride). You can take a day trip around the island, discover excellent birdwatching spots (in the Rapsins Beach Conservation Area) and enjoy beautiful beaches such as Raspins, Millingtons, Spring and Rheban. A wonderful stopover for all nature lovers.
