Nadoba is the last Togolese village in the north-east of the country before Benin. It is part of the classified Koutammakou site, famous for the turreted houses built by the Batammariba people. This is also where you'll find the largest number of takientas. Every Wednesday, the village hosts a large, lively market where northerners and border residents from Benin gather. You can sleep with the sisters in basic, low-cost accommodation. And the food is excellent! For those wishing to travel to Benin, it is possible to complete police formalities on the spot and then travel to the village of Boukoumbé.
