Nahargarh, "the home of the tigers", is located in the foothills of the Aravalli Mountains, overlooking the pink city of Jaipur. Built in the 18th century, it was a secondary residence for the royal family. Some of its fortifications are connected with the Jaigarh fort. The place is popular at sunset and young couples come to watch the sky turn pink for a romantic break. The access road to the fort starts from the road to Amber Fort on the left. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the fort from Badi Chaupar by motorized vehicle. By auto-rickshaw, the ride will cost you Rs 300 with waiting time.
