Alfakoara is a small village located 28 km north of Kandi, on the road to the distant Malanville, and 45 km from the W Park (closed to visitors for an undetermined period of time during our visit in 2022). People come to this small village mainly to visit the famous elephant observation post and to discover the daily life of its villagers, who have lived together since the dawn of time in the entire hunting area of the Djona. The ecotourism association Eco-Benin, present in the village of Alfakoara, will be the best to inform you and guide you once you are there. Do not hesitate to contact them!
