Founded in 1996 by the Confederation and the Canton of Geneva, supported by national and local, public and private entities, the Centre d'Accueil - Genève Internationale (CAGI) aims to facilitate the installation and integration in the Lake Geneva region of international civil servants, members of permanent missions, consulates, NGOs, multinational companies and their families. In addition to the practical assistance it provides, it organizes or supports cultural or social events that promote exchanges between "International Geneva" and local communities. Several services are orchestrated by the Cagi: the Housing & Information Service, the welcome programme for new arrivals, the Events Service, the Delegates' Service, the NGO Service, the cultural kiosk at the Palais des Nations. SIG (Services Industriels de Genève) is an autonomous company under public law committed to serving the Geneva community. It distributes water, gas, electricity and thermal energy, treats waste water and recycles waste, while seeking to promote energy savings and renewable energies. SIG manages a heritage linked to the history of energy in Geneva, remarkable industrial sites: the Jet d'eau, the Pont de la Machine, the Seujet dam, the Verbois dam...a total of 12 energy sites, 8 of which offer guided tours for groups. Free exhibitions are also organised throughout the year in the Quartier Libre SIG area of the Pont de la Machine. SIG also widely promotes "l'Eau de Genève", Geneva's drinking water, which is of excellent quality in Geneva.

Keeping fit at any age would be almost the motto of the City of Geneva's sports department. It works for the promotion and practice of sport in Geneva: development of infrastructures, encouraging the practice of sport, organisation of sporting events... It's the central post office in Geneva. It is located near the Cornavin station and in the renovated building of the Montbrillant station, which houses several cantonal administrations. It offers all the services of the Swiss post office such as dispatching, receiving and sending parcels, derivative articles for purchase and even the "swiss-express moon" service on Sundays.
