As its name suggests, En face la Cité is a restaurant located just in front of the future International City of Gastronomy. Very accessible, close to the city centre and right at the end of rue Monge, it is a nice setting for a lunch break or to dine on the terrace. Open since June 2019, by the young chef Maya Bâ, enjoy French cuisine revisited with contemporary touches and a mix of refined flavours. Lorin, chef de salle, welcomes you with a smile and advises you between the different menus that change every day. Avocado carpaccio as a starter then homemade purée accompanied by scallops, spaghetti with carbonara or penne and chicken, the menu will instantly whet your appetite. A generous cuisine, which mixes flavours from elsewhere with traditional local cuisine, and a decoration in its own image, sober and elegant, with paintings and female busts on the walls.
