The tribe of Eni is one of the 8 customary districts of Maré, one of the smallest. It is located in the south of the island and has about 350 inhabitants. A pretty beach with turquoise waters stretches at the foot of the village and you can also visit the Pethoen cave, on the side of the road towards Wabao (a path can be spotted by its safety barriers). Around Eni, you can find a forest in which it is good to walk in order to admire the fauna and the flora while making of the exercise (the birds are magnificent, take time to observe them). If you are passionate about nature, you can spend a night camping in the forest.
