Every year from the first weekend of January, the small town welcomes for 10 days this celebrated celebration of Gaucho culture. Thousands of spectators come to watch impressive equestrian performances, a kind of rodeo on completely torn mounts… Although the festival is considered the most popular in Argentina in this category, many animal welfare associations denounce the abuse of horses.
