The famous Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen worked in this Dutch Baroque castle.
A fine example of Danish baroque architecture built in the 17th and 18th centuries. This bright yellow building has been inhabited by the same family since 1739. The furniture is also original. Also designed by the architect Krieger, the beautiful wooded park is terraced on the steep slopes of the Kornerup valley with alternating fountains and sculptures. It was completely renovated in 2004-2006 and is open to the public. Very nice view over the valley.
