There's not much to do in Kenwood, and not much to say about it either. Nevertheless, it's a pretty little town in Sonoma Valley, just outside of Sonoma, and there are some nice wineries there. It is worth noting that Thomas Kearns, a mining, railroad, newspaper and banking magnate, who was also a senator from Utah, is said to have entertained President Theodore Roosevelt here on his ranch. And, perhaps most excitingly, the World Pillow Fighting Championship began here in the 1970s and continued for many years. It is expected to return soon, now that the covid pandemic seems to be over.
