Nangbeto and its dam are located more than 40 km from Atakpamé, half track, half tarred road, on a water surface of 180 km². In the past, hippos could be seen there, but unfortunately they have all been poached in the last ten years. However, it is possible to take a pirogue ride on the water, to go fishing or to go down the Mono River in a canoe-kayak. For this last activity, contact the organization 1 001 pistes with whom you can practice it safely. The trip by motorcycle cab from Atakpamé costs about 1,000 FCFA and by bush cab, count on about 4,000 FCFA for the round trip.
