On the road to Schwoben west of Hausgauen, Saint Brice Chapel stands at the location of the old village of Dennach. This is the only remnant of the old Gallo-Roman city, destroyed in 1445 by the Basel. The tombs, discovered around the sanctuary, returned to the reign of Othon I, founder of the Holy Roman Empire in 962. Stone alignments placed on the edges of fish on the west facade tend to confirm this dating. A date on the pediment indicates that a new gate was built in 1695. A house of hermitage was built in the continuation of the sanctuary in 1736. This chapel was restored by the commune during the th century.
