Travel Guide El Brujo

El Brujo, located in the Chicama valley on 100 hectares, is considered by many inhabitants as a major site of the north coast. Beautifully presented, its museum is interesting. One of the only tattooed mummies of the region can be seen there. More than an hour drive from Trujillo, this huaca is unfortunately far away, but often included in the tours that connect Trujillo to Chiclayo. Do not miss it. On the other hand, there are no localities close by that are worth stopping for a night, the closest is Magdalena de Cao, from where the name of the mummy exposed. However, this isolated museum helps to revitalize a region that is still very rural.
