In the north-east of the island, completely at the end of the world but not far from the site of Iipona, this small pension offers two rooms with a shared bathroom (cold water) side with access to the beach, close to archaeological sites. This is not a great comfort, but the whole remains satisfactory. It is better to stay there for a certain time given the price of transfers and remoteness… The address is known mainly for its restaurant, not frills but really focused on marquisiennes specialities: Wild pig, goat or beef in coconut milk, raw fish… Good local cuisine.

Descending from the tikis Puamau, on the left you will find the small restaurant Marie Antoinette. A warm welcome, you can taste all and it is home-made cooking. It is simple but delicious
