Located south of Huahine Iti, Parea concentrates most of the tourist establishments of the small island. The Moana Lodge and Hotel Le Mahana are located on Hiva Point, while Camping Hiva Plage and the Maison du Paréo await you in the village. Other points of interest in Parea include the Punamiti spring, located under the school playground, or the Marae Anini, restored in 1969. Characteristic for its altar, it is composed of small platforms considered as beds for the deities Oro and Hiro. As for the stones erected vertically, it is assumed that they commemorate the deceased chiefs.
