Travel Guide Manawan

Manawan is located about 90 km north of Saint-Michel-des-Saints, accessible by a forestry road. This Aboriginal community of the Atikamekw Nation offers fair and sustainable tourism with authentic and exotic experiences of learning, adventure and cultural exchange in an exceptional natural setting. Multi-day packages are offered in summer on the traditional Matakan site on the shores of Lake Kempt. Other packages and activities are also offered, including the snowmobile package in winter or the vacation package in summer at Auberge Manawan, the initiation to the Atikamekw sugar bush and the Pow Wow package.
