Only 2 km from the French border, this resort was the first ski resort opened in Spain. It offers a great diversity of landscapes and difficulties of tracks. In total, 44 trails on a 40 km area as well as 3 cross-country trails, marked out to practice skating. Note that the cross-country circuit of Candanchú passes through Puerto Viejo in France and is found in the Somport with the same ticket. The resort also offers a marked circuit for snowshoeing that runs through the rocky hills of Ciudad de Piedra, in the Pista Grande area.
