The road leading from Laâyoune to Boujdour, straight and relatively monotonous, runs along the Atlantic Ocean for 188 km. Originally Boujdour is a small fishing village established near the lighthouse. Today, this large town, populated with more than 50 000 inhabitants, has gradually become the capital of the province. Only a few thousand travellers pass through here each year, which means that tourism is still in its infancy. However, its cornice offers a more than pleasant stroll along the Atlantic coast. You will find several small restaurants serving good food, at the exit of the city in the direction of Dakhla.
