Travel Guide Kupusina (Купусина)

Kupusina is a small village of 2,000 inhabitants, close to one of the tributaries of the Gornje Podunavlje national reserve. Located only a few kilometers from Sombor, it is a village in the purest Hungarian tradition, often presented as the most typical example of life in Vojvodina before the great unrest of the nationalist and fascist 20th century. It is really a good opportunity (especially in summer) to make a detour after Sombor, especially because it is then possible to venture along the Danube, which here feeds a beautiful wetland, an ancient trace of its banks in a time, less anthropized, when man had not yet tamed it
