Travel Guide Rožanstvo (Рожанство)

Four kilometers southeast of Zlatibor is Rožanstvo, a small village with only 350 inhabitants. The pride of the village is the barrel-making industry, which has been going on for generations, and a small monument in the center of the village celebrates this industry. There is very little infrastructure on site, and one goes there mainly for its proximity to the huge and beautiful Stopica cave. Not far from here is also the spa center Vapa. Rožanstvo refers to the Nativity, a great Christian ceremony. The origin of the name is most uncertain, with wild theories ranging from the baptism of a pagan to a simple tribute on Christmas Eve
