Located 8 kilometers west of Sligo, the beautiful beach of Strandhill is first and foremost a mecca for Irish surfers. Strandhill is also the closest point on the west coast to Dublin, and has just about everything a quiet seaside village could dream of: a great surfing spot, but also windsurfing, sea kayaking, walks along the beach between large sand dunes and woodland, horse riding at the equestrian center, a round of golf and...
