A guest house run by Ursula and Harry, a Swiss-Colombian couple. You will have all the time to observe the adorable sloths that they took in and cared for a few years ago. The accommodation consists of two large, bright rooms overlooking a charming garden with a stream running through it, and a fully-equipped apartment with kitchen and independent patio. There is a lovely view of India Dormida from the roof terrace. The owners organise hikes up there but also to places off the beaten track.

The first contact is nice, but everything is spoiled when you request a service. The owners have been in Panama only about one year, so they know only the village. Moreover: 1-pas hot water and so capricious and hot that when it came (from time) and during 15 seconds it was have to leave the shower quickly; 2 - no shelf or unit in the room and bathroom so it is necessary to put on the floor; 3 it WI-FI is available but it is only few metres around the house propriét. but not in the rooms; 4 - no cleaning in fact, to do the housekeeping and empty the waste it was $5, change towels 5$; breakfast 5 it was offered at $10! ! ; etc... It was at the end of March 2012, the room was $50; there is in El Valle hotels and hostal much cheaper, nicer and run by professionals. Macaire
Mariposa casas is a place of peace. several benches and tables in the garden invite you to relax. the clean, simple and functional are carefully painted by a local artist. Nice owners know the region.
