With an area of 35,929 ha, this park is made up of 23% of marine areas where 53 species of coral (including the Dendrogyra Cylindrua, a unique species in the Caribbean) and a wide variety of mangroves are recorded. On land, we note, alongside the fortifications, 15,000 ha of primary forest and different life zones: tropical rainforest and very humid, humid pre-mountain and rainy pre-mountain. If the biodiversity is considered one of the richest in the world, its preservation is a permanent challenge for the local authorities. A meeting with the rangers will remind you of the cost of admission, 5 US$.
