Between the port of Alcúdia and Ca'n Picafort lies the island's largest wetland area, S'Albufera, a vast area of low-lying land that has been classified as a natural park since 1998. It is the first protected natural area in the Balearic Islands. Flooded for most of the year, this area is of great ecological importance, not only for the presence of migratory birds, but also for the many plant species that live in this environment. The visit will satisfy nature lovers and you will even be lent binoculars to be able to observe the birds with more precision. The park can be reached on foot or by bicycle via the Pont dels Anglesos.
