Established in 2000, Orango National Park is the largest island in the Bijagos archipelago in southern Guinea-Bissau. This biosphere reserve, which is the refuge of manatees, otters and marine hippos, requires the greatest attention: for more than 20 years, covetous have become increasingly harsh, especially on the part of fishing and tourism players.
