Majestic Table Mountain is a forced passage in Cape Town and probably its most beautiful attraction. In competition to become one of the seven wonders of the world, it offers beautiful landscapes from the bottom as well as from the top. Table Mountain is now part of the Cape Peninsula National Park, and it is forbidden to collect any flower or to ignite any cigarette. Its ascent on foot (2 hours) or by cable car makes it possible to marvel at the spectacular view of the city and the peninsula, at more than 1 000 m altitude. In the distance, we see the mountains of Drakensberg, while the town is modelled around the Hill Hill and Lion's Head mountains. In the north, Devil Peak is a peak often surrounded by a small cloud. Many dassies live there. Beware, it bites!
