Founded in the th century, it is a large village inhabited by a few ethnic groups living in agriculture, hunting and beekeeping. The village stretches over 2 km along the river and all boats anchor it. On the dock, the villagers sell vegetables, berries, flowers, fresh cream, white cheese, cedar nuts… Tourists wandering along the streets.Lower, 15 km from Yartzevo, the Syme River joins the Yenisey. On the edge of this 694 km long river, there is only one inhabited site, Syme, populated by Kètes, a small ethnic area, comprising a total of 1 200 people. They live in hunting and fishing.
