South of Medellin begins the road of the paisa colonization, prelude to the coffee zone. A road that goes up and down through the mountain range, in the middle of immaculate green landscapes. The mountain ridges draw strange shapes in the starry night, like the Cerro Tusa, with its characteristic triangular shape. For a break on the road, 6 km from Bolombolo, along the Cauca River to the north, there is a path that leads from a bridge (Quebrada El Higueron) to a cave and a waterfall where you can swim. The village kids know the place. Bolívar and Hispania can also be the object of a pleasant break.
