This island is reached only in caïque, but offers some beautiful beaches, deserted… The island was abandoned after serving as a naval base during the Second World War. Since then, there has been an almost bizarre atmosphere. The church of the abandoned village, the church Saint George, is still in a state of operation: it is used for a few local celebrations. On the village heights, a ruined fortress offers magnificent views of Halki and the surrounding area.
