Refuge presenting the protection and conservation of the marine turtle, located on the Punta Mala point in Playa Hermosa.
This refuge is dedicated to the protection and conservation of thousands of marine turtles that come to lay their eggs every year on this deserted beach. President Carlos Alvarado had signed here 2 decrees which reaffirmed the commitment of the country to ensure the integral protection of its marine territory. The refuge fights every day to offer better chances of survival to the turtles born on this beach which have to face catastrophic living conditions. Hats off to them!
