It's impossible to miss the structures of the salt mine (Mines Seleine) at the entrance to the village! Its exports are used to de-ice roads in the east of the continent. In operation since 1978, and officially inaugurated in 1982, its galleries extend over a diameter of around 1.6 km beneath the dunes and the sea. The little church in the center of the village is also worth a visit for its stained-glass windows, and the Fish Shack for its lobster guédilles and fish & chips. Then, following the scenic route, we pass East Cape to skirt the Pointe-de-l'Est National Wildlife Area. The small road between East Cape and Old-Harry leads there.
