The Suluban break, which includes the spots known as Uluwatu, is located a few kilometers south of Padang Padang. You arrive at a small parking lot (for a fee; if you park a hundred meters before the parking lot - like the surfers - you won't have to pay). From here, a staircase leads down to the ocean. You come to a cliff face jutting out over the raging sea, where warung and other surf shops have been built. At the far end, the view of the surf spot and ocean is superb. Even further south, past the Uluwatu temple, lies another, lesser-known surf break: Nyang Nyang.
