This commune of the Alençon campaign, a bocage version, is scattered into many hamlets on the edge of the forest of the Listeners. As in most of the Ornais mountain boatyards were active in the nineteenth century with the production of camembert. On the road to Carrouges, «L 'Être Corneilles», the Marguerite dairy, more formerly Guérineau manufactured the «Holy Savior», a famous raw milk camembert, exported to Paris. Collectors may find this beautiful label. Succession is assured on this cheese tradition with the Mercier family in this municipality.
