The village attracts geologists and geographers from around the world because of its moraine site, which was formed about 11,000 years ago (a pile of mineral debris transported by a glacier or ice sheet). Saint-Narcisse also has the first power transmission line in the British Empire and one of the first hydroelectric dams in the province. Its main attraction is the Batiscan River Park with its zip lines, via ferrata and tree courses. You can enjoy a host of other outdoor activities, see an exhibition on local wildlife and even stay at a campground, a trailer park or an unusual shelter.
