The port of Rivière-au-Renard, known as the "fishing capital", is home to large fishing boats and fish processing plants. You can buy shrimp, lobster and other items in the small fish shops along the harbour. On sunny days, the Sablière beach is ideal for swimming and lounging. You can also go bird watching in the marsh in the centre of the village, or go to the chapel lookout, which offers a beautiful view of Rivière-au-Renard and the sea. To quench your thirst after the walk, the local microbrewery Au Frontibus is highly recommended.
