This small nature park is the closest to Accra (about 50 km from the capital on the road from Tema to Akosombo). In this reserve, you'll find the fauna that thrives in savannah regions: monkeys (baboons and cercopithecines), king antelopes and almost 100 species of birds, including the hornbill. The reserve can be visited by 4x4 or on foot. Visits in the rainy season are not recommended, as the height of the grass makes it difficult to see the animals clearly. If you want to spend the night here, you can stay at the Shai Hill Resort. Park open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: GHC 40 (+ GHC 10/h).
