A cable car in use since 1968. The view of the mountains and Neuschwanstein is truly sensational!
This aerial tramway, which has been in operation since 1968 (the two cabins date from 2021), provides access to the Tegelberg. In just four minutes, you'll climb from 830 to 1,730 meters above sea level, while admiring the mountains and Neuschwanstein Castle. The view is breathtaking! Once up there, you can enjoy a snack or a drink in the Tegelhaus after taking the 40-minute Königsrunde tour, as King Max and Queen Marie used to like to come here for a stroll. For the more experienced, there's the Branderschrofen summit to climb.
