Rampanalgas is a small, friendly coastal village where life is good. The nearby beach of Balandra is very popular with the locals and well protected from the sea, which can be rough here. One of the best roadside restaurants on the island, Aunty kay's kitchen, is located in the middle of the village, and usually has its fair share of vehicles lined up for its food. There are some great accommodation options here, often with spectacular sea views. A great stopover between Arima and Grande-Rivière. In the evening, music and liming are the order of the day at Arthur's bar. Beach directly accessible from the road.
