Fraserburgh is at the north-eastern tip of the Aberdeenshire coastline. It is the largest seafood port in Europe and its quays are always alive with the bustle of boats. There are beautiful sandy beaches to the southeast of the city on either side of Rattray Head, and the main attraction is the very interesting Lighthouse Museum: the Scottish Lighthouse Museum. Also stop by the city's Heritage Museum, which tells the rich history of the city. It's also a great spot for bird watching. Bundle up, because Fraserburgh holds the record for the highest wind speed in Britain: 231 km/h!
